Can anyone shed any ligh…

Can anyone shed any light on the purpose of having all of the config files in each generated library? I’m talking about the one shown in the image. They seriously clutter up the libraries and I, at least, don’t use them. Can you create a lib without them but still do testing? For me, everything is configured in the top-level config files. THX!
